Eco paints

According to the EPA, indoor environments can be up to 10 times more polluted than outdoors due to the Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) in paints and other household products. At GreenTech Painting, we use Zero-VOC and natural paints to promote healthier and more sustainable environments.

Benjamin Moore

Canada

Benjamin Moore offers a diversity of interior and exterior products free of VOCs and zero emissions, plus zero-VOC Gennex colourants to ensure their eco paints remain zero-VOC, even after tinting. In addition, some of their paints are tested to be Green Seal-certified and certified asthma & allergy friendly by the Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America.

Sherwin Williams

United States

Sherwin Williams has a wide range of eco paints that meet or exceed Green Seal criteria (GS-11) and the U.S. Green Building Council’s LEED certification. Some of its zero-VOC formulas help improve indoor air quality by removing common odours from cooking, pets, and cigarette smoke and reducing the levels of formaldehyde that’s off-gassed by certain carpets, cabinetry, and insulation. In addition, it dries to a washable surface within 24 hours and contains antimicrobial ingredients that inhibit mould growth and mildew once it dries.
